The distinction matters more than the words suggest. A wholesale supplier sells you finished pajama styles from an existing range — you pick a style, add your label, and reorder what sells. A pajama manufacturer builds your style: your fit block, your fabric spec, your trims, your packaging, developed from a tech pack or even a reference garment and a conversation.

The practical difference shows up in three places. First, pattern and fit: a manufacturer grades your fit block across your size range instead of forcing your brand onto a generic block. Second, fabric: we knit and source to your target handle and GSM rather than limiting you to what’s on the shelf. Third, accountability: when the factory and the seller are the same company, a fit problem or a dye lot miss has one owner — us. There is no “we’ll check with the factory” step, because you are talking to the factory. The cost structure is equally simple: a flat sample fee, the unit price, and packaging — no tooling or setup charges for standard constructions.

Roughly 60% of our pajama volume is OEM/ODM programs for brands — gifting labels, boutique sleepwear lines, and Amazon private label sellers — with the remainder running through our wholesale range. Both run on the same lines, the same QC protocol, and the same 100-piece minimum per colour per design.

Everything below runs in-house — cutting, sewing, decoration, labeling, and packing in one facility. That is not a marketing line; it is why we can hold a 100-piece MOQ and still control set color coordination, which is the single most common failure point in pajama production.

Button-down notch collar sets, revere collar sets, and shorts sets in cotton poplin and brushed flannel. Woven production is where construction skill shows: placket fusing, collar roll, button shank height, and piping all affect how the finished set photographs and how it survives repeat washing. Our woven line handles piping, contrast binding, and all-over print (AOP) fabric runs from 200 meters.

Pullover sets, sleep shorts, sleep tanks, and lounge-adjacent styles in cotton jersey and bamboo jersey. All knit fabric is pre-washed before cutting to take out first-wash shrinkage — a step that costs us a day and saves your customers a return. Knit styles run 25–35 days against 30–40 for woven.

Bamboo viscose jersey is the fastest-growing fabric request in our pajama programs — silky handle, cool-to-touch, and a natural-fiber retail story that supports premium price points. It also has specific production requirements (shrinkage control, needle selection, US labeling rules) that generic suppliers routinely get wrong. Custom woven neck labels, hem labels, hangtags, and care labels are standard from 200 pieces per colorway. Packaging runs from printed polybags with header cards (100-unit MOQ) to rigid gift boxes with ribbon and insert cards (200-unit MOQ). For US children’s sleepwear we produce to CPSC flammability requirements (16 CFR 1615/1616) — either FR-treated woven or tight-fitting knit constructions with the required labeling.

Whether you work with us or not, these are the five checks that separate a real pajama manufacturer from a reseller with a website. They take one email to run.

1. Ask who owns the production line. Ask directly: “Is production in your own facility, or subcontracted?” A factory answers with a location and can put you on a video call from the floor. A trading company changes the subject. Neither is illegitimate — but you should know who you’re actually buying accountability from.

2. Ask how they control set color matching. This is the pajama-specific question. A matching top and bottom cut from different dye lots will read as mismatched under retail lighting. Any real pajama manufacturer can describe their dye lot protocol without hesitation — single-lot sourcing, lab dips, pairing checks. If the answer is vague, the QC doesn’t exist.

3. Check what the MOQ actually means. “MOQ 100” can mean 100 pieces total, or 100 per colour, or 100 per colour per size. Get it in writing. Ours: 100 finished garments per colour per design, sizes split freely within it.

4. Look at the sampling policy. A manufacturer that sews proto samples in-house — same operators as bulk — is showing you real output. A supplier that outsources sampling is showing you someone else’s work.

5. Verify certifications, don’t admire them. OEKO-TEX® and GRS certificates carry numbers you can check in the issuers’ public databases in two minutes. Final pricing is confirmed against your tech pack, since fabric, decoration and labelling move the number. Woven and flannel sets start at 200 pieces.

You don’t need a complete tech pack to start — about half our programs begin with a reference garment and a target price. Here is the path either way.

Send a tech pack, or a reference garment plus target market and quantity. We quote within one business day and flag anything outside our standard range — unusual GSM, non-standard sizing, complex prints — in the first reply, not after sampling. As an anchor: standard knit sets start around $2.67–$3.67 FOB and woven button-down sets $3.67–$4.67 FOB at entry volumes, dropping 20–30% at 300+ pieces.

Our pattern room drafts or adapts your fit block, then sews one proto sample per style in-house at a flat fee. Turnaround 10–14 days. You evaluate fit, fabric hand, and construction before any bulk commitment.

All fabric for a matching set ships from a single dye lot, confirmed with the mill’s certificate before cutting. Lab dips are matched against your approved standard under D65 lighting. You sign off before bulk cutting — re-dyeing happens before cutting, never after.

25–40 days depending on construction and volume, with QC at three points: post-cutting measurement checks, mid-production seam and label checks, and final set-pairing and packaging inspection to AQL 2.5.

FOB Shanghai or Ningbo, China, or CIF to major ports, with full export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and market compliance paperwork such as the CPSC General Certificate of Conformity for US children’s sleepwear.
