Swim fabric fails in specific ways: it goes see-through when wet, it bags out at the seat and knee after a few wears, or the elastane dies from chlorine and sunscreen. A real swimwear factory states the composition, GSM and knit construction — warp-knit tricot holds shape better than circular knit — and will run a chlorine, sunscreen and stretch-recovery check on your approved sample and send you the result. “It’s good swim fabric” is not a spec.

A matching bikini top and bottom cut from different dye lots will read as mismatched under retail lighting — the single most common swimwear return reason. Any real manufacturer can describe their dye lot protocol without hesitation. If the answer is vague, the QC doesn’t exist.

Front-lined or fully lined, power-mesh bust support, gusset construction on bottoms, and whether your rash guards and cover-ups carry a measured UPF rating — these decisions move both cost and fit. A cut-and-sew factory changes them to your spec; a re-seller working from a stock block usually cannot.

The graded fit block and size set we develop are yours to keep — take them to another factory whenever you want; we don’t hold patterns hostage.

All fabric for a matching set ships from a single dye lot, confirmed against the mill’s certificate before cutting. You sign off before bulk cutting.

18–25 days depending on construction and volume, with QC at three points: post-cutting measurement checks, mid-production seam and lining checks, and final set-pairing and packaging inspection to AQL 2.5.
