Super soft fleece is a knitted fabric made from ultra-fine microfibre polyester yarns, brushed and finished to create an exceptionally soft, lightweight pile surface. Compared to standard polar fleece, super soft fleece uses finer denier fibres — resulting in a silkier hand-feel, better drape and a more premium finished appearance.

What is the difference between super soft fleece and standard fleece?
Super soft fleece uses ultra-fine microfibre yarns (typically 0.5–1 denier) to create a silkier, lighter surface. Standard polar fleece uses heavier yarns (2–4 denier) producing a coarser, more structured pile. Super soft fleece has better drape and a more premium feel — commanding higher retail price points.
What is the difference between fleece and flannel?
Fleece is a knitted fabric with a looped or cut pile — stretchy, lightweight and moisture-wicking. Flannel is a woven fabric with a brushed nap — denser, more structured and better for flat applications like sheets and shirts. Both are widely used in home textiles, serving different structural and aesthetic functions.
Is super soft fleece eco friendly?
Polyester fleece — including rPET — does not biodegrade at end of life. That is the honest answer. Where rPET makes a meaningful environmental difference is in production: GRS-certified recycled polyester uses roughly 45% less energy than virgin polyester and diverts post-consumer plastic bottles from landfill. It is a real gain, not a complete solution. Our rPET fleece is GRS 4.0 certified — the recycled content is independently audited, and each shipment comes with a Transaction Certificate that buyers can verify and use in their own ESG documentation.
